A native of Philadelphia, PA, Hannah Kearney graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University School of Dance in 2017. Hannah earned a BFA in Dance Performance, a minor in Arts Management, and received the Emerging Freshman award in 2014.
At GMU she performed works by Donald Bryd, Robert Battle, Susan Shields, and Jim Lepore. Hannah has performed with the Philadelphia based Philadanco Second Company (Danco II) and understudied for the premier Philadelphia Dance Company/Philadanco!.
She performed in the new American musical Soul Harmony in West Chester, PA while obtaining her Pilates teaching certifications.
Since moving to Brooklyn, NY in 2018, Hannah performed for JKing Dance Company and Daniel Flores, regionally toured with Ballaro Dance Company, and graduated from the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance Accelerated Program with a focus in performance.
She is currently a member of the Ballaro Dance Company, teaches pilates in-person at several Brooklyn studios, and expanded in 2020 to also teaching virtually with Pilates with Hannah.
